Frankly, after UniFi launched, I noticed an upgraded speed on my 4Mbps line. Normally, it can only reach 2.5-2.9Mbps. Now, I enjoyed 3.2-3.6Mbps which is good.

Back to the topic. Which one is better? Streamyx or UniFi?
Based on the brochure, UniFi is better. I believe TM will push customer for UniFi instead of Streamyx.

But wait until the line get congest and you’ll hear people scream.

Personally, I’m a Maxis Broadband customer. My sister subscribed to Celcom Broadband and I’m impressed!

Coverage Area in Kampungs

When she ‘balik kampung’, I saw she frequently online with Facebook. My kids borrowed her laptop to play online games like Playhouse Disney and Cartoon Network. I know the download limit is low, but she tends to download a lot of MP3s!

Even with GPRS connection, it seems to be fast. I can say, Maxis Broadband connection in the big city sucks!

Probably too many people connect to the broadband. But I salute Celcom Broadband, in penetrating rural and remote areas in Malaysia.

Even though the coverage area is not too wide (in fact signal fluctuating), people from kampungs will benefit much from it.

Government Package

Not to mention, she’s a teacher. Therefore, she’s eligible for the Celcom Broadband Government Package. If i’m not mistaken, it only costs her RM50. Normal billing cycle would be RM68. An RM18 save.

Got problem?

Call Celcom Broadband Careline at 1111 from your mobile phone or 03-36308888.

Thumbs up!

If you subscribed to Maxis BIS and wanted to configure your email address, please directly go to http://maxis.blackberry.com/. It’s pretty straight-forward, similar to other carrier.

•	Chat with MSN, Yahoo! Messenger or BlackBerry® Messenger
•	Easy access to sites like Facebook and Myspace
•	Full screen Internet browsing
•	Phone / SMS / MMS / Organiser / Document Viewer
•	Multimedia capabilities

For more information, call 123 from your Maxis mobile or 1 800 82 1123 to speak to our Customer Care Consultants. You can also drop by any Maxis Centres or Maxis Exclusive Partners nationwide

Wait for the latest Blackberry Bold 9700 if you can. If not, you may get the old Pearl or Blackberry Storm (if you like it to be similar to iPhone) or just get the Blackberry Curve 8900 (similar to Blackberry Bold 9000). Some said it is cheaper than Celcom.

Got problem?

Don’t worry. You may call Maxis at 123 or directly go to the Maxis Blackberry Customer Service number at 1919 from your Maxis mobile phone.

I’m on Hotlink prepaid, can I use it?

Of course. Maxis recently unveiled the plan for Maxis Hotlink prepaid.
